pretty pictures

Over the Christmas holidays, we got together with our most amazing photographer friend, Julie Harrell.  She took lots of pretty pictures of us, and I thought you might like to see some of them.

If you're looking to have pics done, I highly recommend contacting her.  Especially if you want pics done on Granville Island; I know she's dying to go back again!

My superman and I haven't had couple-y photos taken of us since, I think, our wedding... That's almost 14 years ago! And Jewels did such a great job!!

I had no idea a photo shoot could be so much fun or involve so much laughter.

I'm impressed she could hold the camera straight.

We decided to spend most of the day at Granville Island, since there's so much great colour and inspiration to be found there.

Then, just before sunset, we rushed over to Gastown to get some great old-world, romantic, sunset-y pics, too.

She gave us a disc with 130 photos.

Have no fear.  I'll only share a dozen... or so.

Plus maybe a few extra.

Consider this a baker's dozen... from a very generous baker...

...who is also numerically dyslexic. Wouldn't that be the best kind of baker ever?

"I'd like a dozen cookies, please."

"Well, would ya look at that!  He gave us 17!"
